Uriah Gracia-Salinas, PT DPT CSCS

Dr. Uriah Gracia-Salinas is the Co-Founder and Head Physical Therapist at Atlas Physical Therapy & Performance.
Raised in Cheyenne, Uriah earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Touro University Nevada.
As a lifelong athlete, Uriah developed a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports physical therapy, and sports performance throughout his education and clinical training. His clinical focus is helping active individuals and athletes recover from injury, restore strength and movement capacity, and return confidently to training and sport.
Uriah places a strong emphasis on integrating strength and conditioning principles into rehabilitation so patients not only recover from injury but return stronger and more resilient than before.
A key component of Uriah’s approach is the use of objective performance testing and data-driven rehabilitation. He utilizes advanced strength and force plate testing to evaluate movement capacity, identify performance deficits, track rehabilitation progress, and guide return-to-sport decision making. This allows rehabilitation programs to be individualized, measurable, and aligned with the demands of sport and training.
Uriah holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential and is a Certified Clinical Athlete Provider. He is also certified in Emergency Responder for the Athlete (ERA), which focuses on the recognition and management of medical emergencies in athletic environments, such as concussion recognition, sudden cardiac arrest response, heat illness management, and other potentially life-threatening conditions that may occur during sport or physical activity.
Outside of the clinic, Uriah continues to live the active lifestyle he encourages in his patients. He enjoys lifting, running, and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is always looking for ways to continue learning and improving within the fields of physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and human performance. When he’s not working or training, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, barbecuing, and going to the movie theater whenever he gets the chance.
